Dentist, Alexander Myasnikov, said that there is great importance to pay attention to dental health, in order to prevent disease, noting that there are studies confirming the close relationship between cancer and bacteria that live in the oral cavity.

And according to “Sputnik”, Myasnikov noted that these microorganisms actively multiply during periodontitis and other diseases of the teeth and gums, and this factor significantly increases the risk of pancreatic cancer.

“Those who constantly develop sore, bleeding gums and pain are at higher risk of developing cancer, as well as heart attacks and strokes,” Myasnikov said.
