You can from 1is March 2022 order your screening kit online and receive it at home. The aim of this new Health Insurance site is to facilitate access to screening tests and to increase the participation rate of the population concerned by the national colorectal cancer screening programme.
Since 1is March 2022, people aged 50 to 74 concerned by the national colorectal cancer screening program can now order their online test kit
and receive it at home.
People eligible for organized colorectal cancer screening receive an invitation to be screened every two years.
The test is to be done at home, then sent to the laboratory for analysis. The process is fully covered by health insurance.
The objective is to increase the participation rate of the population aged 50-74 in this life-saving screening. Indeed, participation in this screening remains very low: over the 2019-2020 period, only 28.9% of the target population carried out this screening. However, detected at an early stage, 90% of colorectal cancers can be cured.

To know : Blue March is the month of mobilization against colorectal cancer. Led by the Ministry of Health and the National Cancer Institute (Inca), the operation aims to raise awareness among the population and health professionals of the importance of screening.

The colorectal cancer screening kit can also be given to you during a consultation at a:
- general practitioner;
- gynecologist;
- hépato-gastroentérologue ;
- doctor from a health examination center under the general health insurance scheme (CES).
