Canva was not working this Friday, September 1st. A certain instability was not allowing users to edit or create their images. When trying to refresh the page, an error was displayed at the top of the site with the following information: “An error occurred while configuring your editing session. Please wait a few minutes and load the page again.” At 13:00 in the afternoon, the system was normalized.

The problem was flagged in DownDetector, a platform that analyzes and notifies instabilities in online platforms. According to the platform, Canva’s instability had start around 9 am todayreaching the peak of complaints around 10 am, when the Downdetector already signaled more than 380 notifications of users.
