Wafer foundry UMC (2330-TW)(UMC-US) Honorary Chairman Cao Xingcheng said today (20) that UMC’s promotion of employee dividend distribution has created more than 1,000 billionaires in Hsinchu Science Park.
Cao Xingcheng said that Xuan Mingming is the “Idea King” and that UMC’s success depends on him. Back then, he promoted employee dividend distribution and created more than 1,000 billionaires in Zhuke. He joked, “If it wasn’t for billionaires, it might be I’ve lost the stock market recently.”
When it comes to publishing books, Cao Xingcheng said that successful entrepreneurs must write books, but writing an autobiography is a trap, because it is very dangerous to look at things from their own perspective, so he never falls into the trap of writing an autobiography. Like Xuan Mingzhi, it is better to write out experiences and ideas, without involving individuals, for readers to appreciate and comment on.
Regarding Xuan Mingzhi’s new book, Cao Xingcheng said that the most important thing in the book is to simplify the complex.
