Opening applications on September 17, 2026, Japanese financial institution Epos Card has announced the launch of the “Capcom Epos Card Pragmata,” a co-branded credit card tied to Capcom’s puzzle-action sci-fi adventure game Pragmata.
Engineering a Synergy Between Sci-Fi Design and Philanthropy
Beyond aesthetics, the card embeds a structural charity mechanism into every transaction. Cardholders earn Epos Points at a standard rate of 0.5% (1 point per 200 yen spent). Out of that return, Epos Card redirects 0.1% of the total transaction value directly to the international child support NGO Save the Children Japan. This backend micro-donation framework operates transparently without requiring manual user opt-in for each purchase.
Card Infrastructure, Perks, and Acquisition Incentives
Operating on the Visa international network, the Capcom Epos Card Pragmata carries zero annual fees. Cardholders also inherit access to Epos Card’s broader tier of domestic perks, which includes discount privileges across approximately 10,000 partner facilities in Japan—ranging from dining establishments to theme parks—alongside travel insurance and lifestyle support frameworks.
To incentivize early adoption following the September 17 launch, applicants who secure the card or switch their existing Epos account within the initial three-month window and accumulate at least 30,000 yen (including tax) in total spending will receive a non-sale, original smartphone strap and phone tab set featuring Pragmata branding.
Pop-Up Retail Rollout and Physical Activation
To support the physical rollout of the card, Capcom and Marui are launching a series of regional retail activations titled the “Pragmata Pop Up Shop in OIOI.” The tour kicks off at Yurakucho Marui before moving to Morera Gujo and Smark Isesaki. These pop-up locations will stock exclusive merchandise tied to the game alongside special purchase incentives available only to attendees.

The card registration portal goes live on September 17, 2026, targeting fans of Capcom’s intellectual property who want to blend gaming merchandise collection with passive philanthropic micro-contributions.
