During EVO, Capcom took the opportunity to give news of its Street Fighter 6 game, with a trailer announcing two fighters.
Women are in the spotlight in Capcom’s latest statement. During the Evolution Championship Series competitive event, the studio unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming game Street Fighter 6. This introduces us to two new playable characters, one of whom we already know very well. Here is a preview of these two fighters, showing us some of their favorite moves.
Two hot-blooded women
Their names are Juri and Kimberly. Introduced in game Super Street Fighter IV, Juri is a fierce fighter who has a holy horror of rules. Fans of the franchise already know that she is one of the agents of the SIN and only dreams of taking revenge on a certain M. Bison. Capcom describes it as follows: “This sadistic daredevil revels in the suffering of others, gloating as she crushes her foes. His desire for revenge against M. Bison is the only driving force that gives him a reason to live.”
Kimberly is a newcomer with energy to spare. Capcom describes it this way: “Forced student of Guy and 39th successor of Bushinryu, Kimberly had an ordinary childhood. But this little genius came out of university young… Today, she wants to become a ninja. She loves the 80s.”
This brings the whole thing to 7 fighters for the moment: Juri, Kimberly, Guile, Chun-Li, Jamie, Luke and the famous Ryu. As the game’s release date approaches, Capcom is expected to reveal more and more of its content as well as the characters you can play as. For the moment, Street Fighter 6 is expected in 2023 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
