Capillary appoints Sumit Kumar as President of the Middle East, Africa & India

Capillary Technologies has appointed Sumit Kumar as President for its operations across the Middle East, Africa, and India. Based in Dubai, Kumar will oversee the company’s sales organization and lead the enterprise adoption of its loyalty platform within these strategic geographies.

The appointment is intended to strengthen Capillary’s leadership framework as it seeks to expand client partnerships and deepen its footprint in markets characterized by rapid retail digitalization. Kumar’s mandate includes driving the growth of the company’s award-winning loyalty solutions, focusing on scaling enterprise-level integration across diverse sectors.

Kumar brings more than 28 years of experience in customer success and enterprise sales to the role. His professional background includes leadership positions at several major global and regional organizations, including Marks &amp. Spencer, Bata, the Landmark Group, Al-Futtaim, and The Clermont Group. During these tenures, he focused on revenue growth and the establishment of long-term corporate partnerships.

Beyond his experience in retail and enterprise sales, Kumar has held governance roles in the healthcare sector, serving as a Director and Board Member for Hoan My Medical Corporation, which operates as the largest private healthcare group in Vietnam.

The move comes as Capillary Technologies continues to prioritize the Middle East, Africa, and India as core growth engines. The company’s current operational focus remains the expansion of its client base and the deployment of its loyalty technology to support enterprises manage customer retention and engagement.
