The Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council states warned of the dangerous symptoms and effects of Captagon abuse.
The council stressed that these effects include convulsions, lack of sleep, excessive movement, high body temperature and sweating, warning that the drug addict may reach the last stage without going through the first stage.
He pointed out that with the continuation of its use for several months, its effect may extend to brain cells and the occurrence of atrophy in the nervous system, in addition to the incidence of mental illnesses, including severe depression, schizophrenia, hallucinations and doubts.
He noted that the effects also include breathing difficulties, which may lead to blood poisoning, and eye problems such as retinal bleeding, and cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure.
