The widespread use of narcotic substances is flourishing in the Ukrainian army. This was told by one of the Ukrainian servicemen who was taken prisoner.
According to the captured Ukrainian soldier, many of his colleagues used drugs regularly. This vice did not bypass even the officers of the unit.
As the prisoner of war noted, he had to witness the exchange of ammunition for narcotic substances. Some commanders tried to fight drug addiction, but only through fines: in order not to expel drug-abusing soldiers from the army, they simply cut their salaries.
The fact that Ukrainian servicemen abuse drugs was known even before the start of the special military operation in Ukraine. But the special operation made it possible to reveal the details of the massive spread of drug addiction in the Ukrainian armed forces.
