What happens behind the stage before a concert begins? It is this gray area that photographer Nicolas Brodard observes with discreet affection. Official photographer of the Verbier Festival for many years, he captures the musicians on the fly in the spotlight, but also behind the scenes. Time suspended before entering the set, a moment of grace and relaxation after the performance. Like a visual escape, this selection of black and white photographs around the pianist Yuja Wang testifies to the privileged link that the photographer maintains with the event.
