Caracas restaurant disassociated itself from “Nazi birthday” celebrated in its premises

The commercial establishment stated that they are not “participants in these movements”, so at the time of the celebration they apologized to those affected by such events.

The Caracas restaurant, in whose facilities a Nazi-themed birthday was celebrated, repudiated the event that occurred last Sunday night, for which it apologized to those affected and the other attendees at its facilities.

The “Salvaje” business premises were separated this Tuesday from what happened after the controversy that involved a party alluding to fascist themes.

The exclusive restaurant, located on the 8th floor of The Box tower, in Las Mercedes, said that they are not “participants in these movements.”

The protagonist of the unusual celebration was a man who wore a cap and military camouflage clothing.

The cake was decorated with a photograph of Adolf Hitler and the image of the swastika used by the Nazis as a symbol that represented them. The honored man even posed for a photo giving the Nazi salute.

The web portal Monitoreamos requested an official comment on the incident, and reported that when they realized what was happening “the cake was immediately removed”, although the customers involved were not evicted from the premises.

“At the time the cake entered the restaurant, it was completely covered like any other, we want to clarify that as soon as we saw what the cake was about, it was immediately removed from the table,” they indicated.

“In fact the owners of our restaurant are Jewish and they felt affected by this conduct. We would like to apologize to all the people who felt affected by this, to all those who received this news and emphasize that we were not part of what happened that night, “they remarked.
