At Coop you can only pay with cash
It is currently not possible to pay with cards or Twint at Coop in Switzerland. However, cash payments are still possible. Coop is working flat out on a solution, a spokeswoman says.
If you stand at the Coop checkout with a card, you will currently get nothing.
Anyone who wants to pay with cards or Twint in the Coop branches in Switzerland looks old. Unless he still has a nugget or a coin in his trouser pocket or handbag. Because: Paying with a card is currently no longer possible. Reason: A technical fault.
Coop spokeswoman Rebecca Veiga confirms the disruption on request. It is currently not possible to pay by card at Coop anywhere in Switzerland, she says to Blick. Coop is working flat out to solve the problem.
