Carl-Anthony Towns to receive super-maximum contract extension from Wolves – 4 years and $224 million – Basketball

Star center “Minnesota” Karl-Anthony Towns (26 years, 211 cm) agreed with the club on a super maximum contract extension.

According to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Towns and the Timberwolves will sign a four-year, $224 million contract extension.

The extension will take effect in the 2024/25 season. Given the current agreement, Towns will earn 295 million over 6 years.

Wolves last season NBA advanced to the playoffs for the second time with Towns in the roster. Playing for the team since 2015, the center averaged 24.6 points, 9.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
