After his appearance at WWE Backlash 2023, Carlito’s future with WWE was uncertain due to the overwhelmingly positive reaction from the WWE Universe. A reaction that opened a door to come back for more than just an evening, especially since the demand was there.
The Wrestling Observer reported today on the subject and reveals that Carlito has canceled an indy show in Canada because he is now under contract with WWE. It was a show for July 15, 2023 at “Great North Wrestling” and Carlito was scheduled for the show, but he canceled giving this reason for a new WWE contract. It is the company that our boss works over there with the Aces And Eights of Quebec and he is currently trying to find out more regarding it.
We will have to watch the next news in the file to see if the comments of Devon Nicholson reported to the Wrestling Observer are real or not, or if the company would try to justify the fact that he is no longer booked. We will find out soon enough.
