Puerto Rican Carlos Correa was activated by the Twins on Wednesday before Minnesota’s final game of the series against the A’s. The club’s top prospect, Royce Lewis, was optioned to Triple-A.
Correa went on the 10-day disabled list after leaving in the seventh inning of a May 5 game against the Orioles after being hit by a ball to the middle finger of his right hand.
Correa is hitting .255/.320/.372 with two home runs and 11 RBIs in 24 games in 2022.
