Carlos González and Sandra Raxón win the 42nd edition of the ACD Classic

National athletes Carlos González and Sandra Yaxón won the 42nd edition of the ACD Classic this Sunday, April 14.

The race began at the Los Arcos Sports Center, advanced along Reforma Avenue to turn around at Las Américas and return to the start, to close the circuit.

González participated in the men’s 10k freestyle category, came in first place and recorded a time of 30:16. Mario Pacay finished second with 30:32 and Cristian López came in third with 31:28.

For its part, in the female branch, first place went to Raxon, clocking 35:59. Heidy Villegas came in second with 37:16 and Jesica Raxon closed the podium with 38:10.

Then, in the men’s master’s, Marvin Pasa came in first, with 33:05. Héctor Schellenger, second with 33:13 and Oseb Arana with 34:15.

Additionally, in the same category, but for women, Elsa Ruiz emerged with 42:43. Elida de Xugá did 44:35 to enter second and in third, Vanesa Meléndez was left with 45:10.
