Carmelo Bongiorno released from prison: he is placed under electronic surveillance

The Council Chamber of Mons was to decide on Tuesday on the fate of the Bongiorno brothers, arrested last Thursday in the context of a vast file of pimping. Arrest warrants confirmed.

Already on Wednesday, several searches were carried out, in Mons (Chaussée de Bruxelles) as well as in La Louvière (rue de Longtain). In the buildings visited by the police, the investigators would have discovered prostitutes, some of them illegal residents. Several people were arrested, and three people placed behind bars: Carmelo Bongiorno, his brother, Angelo, as well as another woman, clearly involved in the prostitution network.

The Council Chamber has just confirmed the arrest warrants, but it has opted for electronic surveillance.
