Carrefour Belgium Recalls Turkey Fillets Due to Labeling Error – Important Information for Allergic Individuals

2023-08-10 16:58:48

The Carrefour brand, in consultation with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (Afsca), invites its customers on Thursday to bring back trays containing 150 grams of turkey fillets, due to a labeling error. The labels of these products, sold in the delicatessen section of certain Carrefour Belgium and bearing the name “Ham on the bone 300g”, do not display the “milk” allergen.

The incriminated products, of the Carrefour brand, bear the EAN code 5400101183247 and must be consumed before September 4, 2023. These were sold until August 10, 2023.

People allergic to milk are invited to return the trays to the point of sale where they were purchased. If the product has already been consumed, Carrefour invites its customers to consult a doctor. The product does not represent any danger for non-allergic customers.

For any additional information, Carrefour Belgium’s “consumer” service can be reached on the free number 0800/910.11, from 8.30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
