The filming of ” Wonderwell ended in 2016, weeks before Carrie Fisher died of a heart attack aged 60.

Vertical has acquired the rights to distribute the film in North America, the UK and Ireland, reported Deadline Wednesday. Directed by Vlad Marsavin, the film will have a limited theatrical release in the United States on June 23, followed by a digital release.
Fisher has completed filming the scenes for Wonderwell in 2016, a few weeks before his death on December 27, 2016 from a heart attack at the age of 60. The film also stars Rita Ora, Nell Tiger Free, Sebastian Croft and Kiera Milward.
