On February 17, the police of Ea H’leo district (Dak Lak province) said that they are continuing to investigate the case of a young man driving a car into a group of people, causing one serious injury.

According to initial information, before about 22:30 on February 16, La Tuan Duy (SN 2000, living in Ea Nam commune, Ea H’leo district) and a group of friends went to KINH BEER PUB & FOOD restaurant in Ea town Dang (Ea H’leo district) to drink beer. Here, Duy’s group had a conflict, clashed with Mr. TS’s group (SN 1986, living in the same commune) but everyone dissuaded them, so they all went home.
Angered by being beaten, subject Duy drove a car carrying BKS 47A-140.05 back to KINH BEER PUB & FOOD.
When he was almost there, Duy rammed his car into a group of people standing on the sidewalk. In which, Mr. H. (SN 2005, living in Ea H’leo district) was not with Mr. TS’s group, but was hit by the body, causing the victim to break his right foot.
A leader of the Ea H’leo district police said that when receiving the news, the police agency was present to examine the scene and invited the relevant people to the headquarters to work.
Currently, the police agency is holding La Tuan Duy for investigation.
