A total of 162 people were treated in a social medical day that the Casa de Autoridad para las Naciones Foundation (CDA) is carrying out in the La Línea sector, Maiquetía, where they not only attended people from this community but from all the parishes from La Guayra.
The medical event was carried out in collaboration with IPASME, which provided care in general medicine, alternative medicine, pediatrics, occupational therapy, immunization, preventive dentistry, and deworming.
In turn, medicines were delivered according to the case of each person. The drugs that had a greater demand were hypertensives, for example, Losartan, Fluconozole and other drugs to control blood pressure.
“We had not received this type of support in the community for more than three years. I am grateful that this initiative has been taken, expressed Wilmer Salazar, a resident of La Línea. For her part, Diomaris de Peña, vice president of the CDA Foundation, invited the entire community and surrounding areas to attend the event that will continue this Saturday 27 with social assistance in legal advice, family orientation, anti-drug talks, recreation and where kids will enjoy face painting and inflatable mattresses. /GP
