Casablanca Stock Exchange Weekly Highlights: November 7-10

Here are the highlights of the week at the Casablanca Stock Exchange, from November 7 to 10:

The MASI recorded a slight decline of 0.24% to 11,948.6 points, while the MASI.20 remained at 974.48 points.

The sectors of engineering and industrial capital goods (-3.76%), oil and gas (-3.34%), as well as beverages (-3.15%) experienced the most significant declines.

The real estate index posted the best performance of the week, recording an increase of 2.05%, followed by real estate investment trusts (+2.02%) and holding companies – Holdings (+1.1%) .

The total volume of trade reached approximately 409.3 million dirhams (MDH), including 221.7 MDH on the central market and 178.14 MDH on the Bloc market.

Attijariwafa Bank was the most traded security, with a volume of more than 73 million dirhams, followed by Label’Vie (27 million dirhams) and Akdital (16.3 million dirhams).

The overall market capitalization reached 612.3 billion dirhams (billion dirhams).

The largest declines were recorded by Stroc Industrie (-7.91% to 31.21 DH), M2M Group (-5.98% to 587.6 DH), Promopharm (-5.9% to 941 DH), Eqdom (-5.41% to 1,050 DH) and Cartier Saada (-5.01% to 21.24 DH).

The best performances were achieved by Minière Touissit (+5.53% to 1,795 DH), Salafin (+5.35% to 529.9 DH), Douja Prom Addoha (+2.6% to 15.39 DH), Aradei Capital (+2.61% to 453.55 DH) and Microdata (+2.3% to 578 DH).
