Union representatives such as Sergio Oyhamburú (CGT Lomas for Health), Juan Vanati (CGT Lomas for Truckers), Jorge Torres (CGT for Luz y Fuerza), Guido Vacaro (CGT for UPCN), Roberto pugionni (CGT for the UOM), and Marcelo san Martín, Ceferino Fernández and Sergio López (UOM) also participated, along with Juan Carlos Rodríguez, president of the firefighters of Almirante Brown, and Juan Rodríguez, president of Rotary de Burzaco.

Celebrating Lifeguard School Graduates

In addition to economic initiatives, Mayor Cascallares also recognized the achievements of the Almirante Brown School of Lifeguard graduates. During an emotional ceremony, he presented diplomas to the graduates of this unique institution, which operates under the Physical Education Center (CEF) No. 56 and provides free education.

The event was held in the Soldi Hall of the House of Culture, where Cascallares and the school’s director, Pablo Segiaro, presented certificates to the graduating students. The Almirante brown Lifeguard School is the only establishment of its kind in the region that offers free lifeguard training,making it a vital resource for the community.

“We want to congratulate the graduates of our lifeguard school for their enormous effort and for having fulfilled a very crucial stage in their professional training. We are convinced of the value of public education and we work every day so that in Admiral Brown it is indeed of the first quality,” Cascallares remarked.

The lifeguard course spans two four-month periods, encompassing 730 modules. Admission requirements include being over 18 years of age, possessing a complete secondary education certificate, demonstrating swimming proficiency, providing a certificate of provisional physical aptitude, and passing leveling exams.

Sergio Piannciola, Secretary of Education, Science and Technology; Mauricio Gómez, President of the Municipal Sports Institute; and Gabriela Vranic, Undersecretary of Education, were among the other dignitaries in attendance.
