Andy Rivera, the renowned reggaeton singer, celebrated Christmas at the home of his father, the popular music singer Jhonny Rivera, without knowing that that same day two people entered his house in Medellín to obtain a million-dollar robbery.

The singer’s father was the first to inform his fans regarding the robbery and the sadness he feels regarding this event. Also, he provided some details regarding the security cameras, which show two people taking jewelry, money and two safes that add up to a lot of money, although the exact figure is not yet known.
“My people, sadder, man. While we were celebrating Christmas here, thieves broke into Andy’s house, there in Medellín, and robbed him quite large, including jewelry, money and two safes, it’s a considerable sum. In the security cameras you can see two people, but there were probably more because outside, they were probably waiting to load. We are going to offer them a reward,” said Jhonny Rivera.
They became aware of the theft when the urban music singer arrived in the capital of Antioquia on the morning of December 25 and realized that someone entered his home to take these valuable objects.

Although the Rivera family offers a reward for those who provide information regarding the criminals, Andy Rivera was grateful that his family is safe and healthy and said that material things return. However, he admitted to feeling vulnerable with this fact.
“They broke into my house to rob me on the 24th, thank God my family is fine, we are all fine. None of us were there when everything happened and thank God we are all with our physical integrity intact, perhaps a little sad because of the vulnerability in which I feel and in which I feel that my family remains, you wonder perhaps how someone who is close to “You can do this type of damage and how helpless it is not to be clear who it was,” Andy wrote in a publication that he accompanied with a photograph of his family.
In addition, he made it clear that he has worked hard to achieve what he has at this moment and that he will continue to work honestly to recover.
“The only damage was material and if there is one thing I know how to do in life, it is to work honestly and make money. So all that will surely be recovered by working hard. A saying that I always say to those who steal: don’t worry, today’s food will be tomorrow’s hunger once more. Nothing material obtained in a bad way lasts over time,” concluded the reggaeton player.
Various figures from the music industry and his personal circle have expressed solidarity with the artist and have sent him good wishes to overcome this “hard blow” that life has given him.
The theft was recorded days following the singer stated on social networks that he had made progress in his problems due to his depression and had written that the process required patience.
“Right now I feel like I’m reset, that I have to relearn how to live a normal life, I’ve become a person who kind of stays very closed in, I don’t leave the house. I was a person who liked to go out, went out from time to time, went to the mall, and I forgot to do all that. “I became afraid of doing anything.”

Twenty-four days of the hype for the Military Bowl between Virginia Tech and Tulane is nearly done and it’s time to settle things on the field. The Green Wave come into the game at 11-2 following losing to SMU, 26-14, in the AAC Championship Game on Dec. 2. Since that loss, they have lost their head coach and they have had several players opt out of the game, including their quarterback and top wide receiver. On the flip side, the Hokies enter the game at 6-6, winning five of their last eight games to become bowl-eligible, and closed out the regular season with a dominating 55-17 win over in-state rival Virginia in Charlottesville.
Winning this game with put a bow on what has been a tremendous month of December for Virginia Tech head coach Brent Pry and his staff. In the last couple of weeks, he has got commitments from several key players who announced they are returning in 2024, as well as four transfers out of the portal and a promising recruiting class signed last Wednesday.
As kickoff is nearly here, here are three bold predictions for the Military Bowl in Annapolis, Maryland Wednesday.
Recently, I picked the Hokies to win, 38-20, in my preview. It might have raised some eyebrows that I had them put up 38 points on what is a good Tulane defense, regardless of who might or might not be playing. The Hokies offense has been clicking for the last two months of the season and dropped 55 on Virginia. I know, the Green Wave is not the Cavaliers, but still, the Hokies offense is playing with Mojo, and expect them to put up some points.
Since ACC play began, Virginia Tech’s defense has been relentless on opposing quarterbacks. Antwaun Powell-Ryland led them with 9.5 sacks and he has plenty of motivation to collect at least half a sack to get to 10 on the season. Against SMU, Tulane allowed seven sacks to the Mustangs, and with their starting QB out and some of their skill players out, this might be a big followingnoon for the Hokies’ defense. Expect a lot of pressure early and often from Chris Marve’s unit.
Tulane enters the game with a stout run defense that has been good all season long. It took some time for Virginia Tech to commit to the run this season, but once they did with running back Bhayshul Tuten and quarterback Kyron Drones, the results speak for themselves. Once the running game turned around, that opened up the playbook for offensive coordinator Tyler Bowen and once Drone settled in throwing the ball, the running game opened it up. Expect the Hokies to try and establish the run and have success.
Winning would be huge for Virginia Tech going into 2024 and you have to wonder how motivated Tulane will be following losing to SMU in the AAC title game, losing out on a possible New Year’s Bowl opportunity, and losing their head coach and key players to opt-outs. It might motivate them as well and we’ll find out soon enough which it is.

Colorado: In 2019, two more paramedics were found guilty in the case of the murder of Afro-American Elijah McCain (23). Paramedics Jeremy Cooper (49) and Peter Cicheniek (51) were found to be the culprits who administered an overdose of medicine to the young man who had been chased by the police on suspicion on the road.
The court found that their negligence took the life of the young man. The American Medical Association stated that this drug is not used for sedation in such situations and that the paramedic staff made a mistake in assessing the health condition of the young man.
The innocent youth was arrested by the police on suspicion. When the frightened young man resisted, the police threw him on the ground and suffocated him. The paramedic team came to help the police.
