Colorado: In 2019, two more paramedics were found guilty in the case of the murder of Afro-American Elijah McCain (23). Paramedics Jeremy Cooper (49) and Peter Cicheniek (51) were found to be the culprits who administered an overdose of medicine to the young man who had been chased by the police on suspicion on the road.

The court found that their negligence took the life of the young man. The American Medical Association stated that this drug is not used for sedation in such situations and that the paramedic staff made a mistake in assessing the health condition of the young man.

The innocent youth was arrested by the police on suspicion. When the frightened young man resisted, the police threw him on the ground and suffocated him. The paramedic team came to help the police.
