Prime Minister Alexander De Croo visits Libramont Agricultural Fair: Highlights, Reviews, and More!
2023-07-31 15:46:38
Prime Minister Alexander De Croo braved the rain on Monday to visit the Libramont agricultural fair. The Prime Minister visited several manufacturers of agricultural machinery, breeders and visitors who came in large numbers, despite the bad weather.
Prime Minister De Croo arrived at the agricultural fair around 3 p.m. Like his father Herman De Croo, he is a faithful host of the Ardennes event. Father and son De Croo are both great horse lovers and have already visited the fair several times as simple visitors.
The organizers of the fair are delighted that following the visit of the European Commissioner for Agriculture Janusz Wojciechowski last Saturday, they were joined by the head of the Belgian government.

The Libramont agricultural fair has already welcomed some 200,000 visitors in four days, making it “the largest open-air agricultural fair in Europe”, according to the organizers.
Libramont also traditionally attracts many visitors from Flanders. Of the hundreds of exhibitors at the fair, around 40% also come from the north of the country.

Tragedy Strikes: The Untold Story of Remi Enigma, the Daring Rooftopper
2023-07-31 16:43:55
He risked everything – including his life – for a unique selfie.
Remi Lucidi, better known by his stage name “Remi Enigma”, died in an accident in Hong Kong on Saturday.
The 30-year-old Frenchman apparently wanted to take a spectacular photo when he fell to his death – 68 floors down. The exact circumstances of the accident are mysterious.
“Remi Enigma” was a rooftopper – someone who illegally climbed high-rise buildings without protection and distributed photos and videos of them on the Internet. He climbed buildings, cranes, bridges, pylons and transmitters all over the world.
As the “South China Morning Post” now reports, Remi is said to have appeared on Saturday around 6 p.m. (local time) at the “Tregunter Towers” residential high-rise. To gain access to the roof, he told reception that he wanted to visit a friend on the 40th floor. But the alleged buddy did not know the French at all.

According to the South China Morning Post, a security officer is said to have tried to arrest Remi. But too late: He had already disappeared in an elevator.
According to the police report, Remi drove to the 49th floor. From there he walked up the stairs towards the roof. Security followed him. When she got to the top, the hatch to the roof was open, but there was no sign of Remi. He probably hadn’t fallen at that point.

The 30-year-old is said to have been seen once more at 7:38 p.m. He knocked on the window of a penthouse from the outside, whereupon a housemaid alerted the police.
The New York Post quotes an anonymous source. This claims that the police believe that Remi was in danger outside the penthouse. He knocked on the window for help, then he fell.
The police in Hong Kong have not yet announced an official cause of death, the authorities only informed that the Frenchman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Remi’s Instagram profile was still available on Monday morning. His last post is a skyline photo. He just wrote: “Hong Kong”, behind it a heart.
