“Since childhood, our parents have been raising us to wash the meat properly,” says nutritional therapist Markéta Gajdošová. According to her, it is a cultural myth, which, unlike other countries, spreads the Czech Republic. “It is one of the most important things that people should encode once and for all: the meat is unable to,” he points out.

According to her, the washing of meat can cause so -called crosscontamination (transfer of harmful bacteria or other microorganisms from one food to another). “The moment people wash the meat, they have other foods around the line, microcapenaments can spray and it is problematic. The meat itself will undergo a thermal treatment,” Gajdošová describes, saying that other foods such as vegetables that bacteria can stick remain raw.
A nutritional therapist also claims that people often store food. “The problem begins in the arrangement of food in the refrigerator. Often the meat in the upper spaces of the refrigerator, where potential pathogens occur. Or they put foods that are not to be there, such as tomatoes,” he explains.
Markéta Gajdošová also perceives the fact that on social networks they often expand trends that “do not deserve the fame they tend”. “For example, Match or protein products that are really in the glow of the reflectors. Yes, they have their benefits, but it bothers me that they say they ‘all need them’ and that they are ‘absolutely necessary’,” he says.
“A mania is created around the protein. I say there is literally a proteinization of everything around us. I find it extremely important to talk about proteins, but it’s double.
Why, according to Gajdoš, are detox and trends that are aimed at stabilizing hormones, the largest myths in nutrition? And what does he say about parents who forbade children and exaggerate today’s parents with nutrition in their children? And why are people from a generation often lost in terms of diet? You will learn in an interview at the beginning of the article.
