Causa Asfinag: judicial analysis locates no errors at WKStA – FPÖ

Vienna – After confirming the acquittals of ex-Vice Chancellor Heinz-Christian Strache and entrepreneur Siegfried Stieglitz in the Asfinag case, the Ministry of Justice analyzed the appeal decision. When the judgment was announced, the Higher Regional Court of Vienna had reprimanded the Office of the Public Prosecutor for Economic Affairs and Corruption (WKStA) for selectively picking out a few chats. However, the ministry sees no criticism of investigations or the indictment itself.
