He former Minister of Health Ginés González García He was summoned to make an investigative statement for next July 10 by the Federal Justice in order to the crimes of embezzlement and abuse of authority, in the framework of the case known as “Vip Vaccination”.
The request had been formulated by the federal prosecutor Eduardo Taiano and the Head of the Administrative Investigations Attorney (PIA) Sergio Rodríguez.
For the cause, the former head of the Posadas Hospital, Alberto Maceira, was also cited and previously for June 29; Marcelo Ariel Guille, for July 6, and finally the minister for the 10th of this last month.

In the vaccination promoted by the Ministry in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic former president Eduardo Duhalde and family were benefited with the doses; the journalist Horacio Verbitsky, ministers of the current Government and other people. González García’s summons is for three facts, one of which is for a dozen vaccines against Covid 19 that were extracted from the Posadas Hospital to be transferred to the Ministry of Health where they were applied to certain people. The Treasury attorney Carlos Zannini was also benefited, who does not qualify as health personnel but his case is not the reason for which the accused are summoned since he would do so as “strategic personnel.”

The ten doses applied in the Ministry were for Seza Manukian, Horacio Verbitsky, Lourdes Noya Aldrey, Matilde Noya Aldrey, Dolores Noya Aldrey, Felix Eulogio Guille, Florencio Aldrey, Jorge Enrique Taiana, Salomón Schachter and Deputy Eduardo Valdés.
The case began due to a complaint by the prosecutor Guillermo Marijuan and some opposition deputies, and initially the judge closed the case considering that the described maneuver did not enter the criminal order but moral, but the Federal Chamber reversed that situation.
