CEFOJOR Huambo with open doors to the world, says minister – news

The Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Social Communication, Mário de Oliveira, stated, on Friday, 12th, moments after the President of the Republic inaugurated the Journalist Training Center (CEFOJOR), that that social equipment will help in improving journalism carried out in Angola, clarifying that the doors of the enterprise are open to the world.

CEFOJOR was one of three social facilities inaugurated by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, on Friday. After cutting the ribbon and unveiling the plaque, the Executive Power Holder toured the premises of the public enterprise, receiving technical and technological explanations inherent to the size of the CEFOJOR Regional Center, which must serve the provinces of Benguela, Bié, Cuando Cubango and Huíla .

After explaining to the President of the Republic about the strengths and importance of social equipment, minister Mário de Oliveira stated, in statements to the press, that the State is now looking for partners who can help it, in order to fully comply with the objective for which the regional center was designed.

” It is one of the ideas that is on the table, so let’s explore it to the fullest, in order to find partnerships, partnerships that can, with us, put this infrastructure to work and fully achieve what the objectives for which it was designed. As you can see, it is an imposing structure, with a working radio, a school radio, with current technology, a television studio with current technology, all of this from the perspective of high-level media professionals”, highlights the government official.

Mário de Oliveira clarifies that, despite being located in Huambo, it is a center that will serve the country and open to the world. “The doors will be open. All Angolans, not just those who want to come and study here, will have their doors open”, explains the government official.
