CEG Sainte Rita advances to the semi-finals, CEG Cobly in danger

The Beninese representatives in this African School Football Championship played their third group matches this Friday, April 07, 2023.

Defeated by CSG Mfilou with a score of 0-1, CEG Cobly reduced its chances of qualifying for the semi-finals of the competition in court in Durban, South Africa.

In a match where they gave everything, the Beninese stumbled once morest CSG Mfilou who managed to maintain their short advantage until the final whistle. Following this defeat, the CEG Cobly is no longer master of its destiny in this championship. With 4 points on the clock in 3 appearances, the Beninese will have to wait for the result of the match at 2 p.m. (Benin time) between Congo and Seychelles to find out if they will be present in the semi-finals or not.

Unlike young girls, young boys from CEG Sainte Rita are enjoying their qualification for the semi-finals of the 2023 school CAN, acquired this Friday morning following the big victory over CEM Belaouche Ouhladji (4-1).
