International pop star Celine Dion has postponed another series of concerts to focus on her recovery amid an ongoing health crisis.
Concert organizers said in an announcement over the weekend that Celine will not return to complete the remaining shows on her North American tour following treatment for “severe and persistent muscle spasms,” according to the New York Daily News.
“I believe I should be more patient and follow the regimen prescribed by my doctors,” Celine said in a statement.
“There is a lot of organization and preparation that goes into our offerings, so we have to make decisions today that will affect plans in two months,” she added.
The canceled concerts were scheduled to take place from March 9 to April 22.
The tour was to include San Francisco, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh and Washington.
