“Center of Asunción is alive”: More than 35,000 people have already enjoyed the Palmear Fair

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Palmear Fair has already become a weekend classic and as proof of its success are the more than 35,000 people who have enjoyed the Guaraní culture, gastronomy and crafts in the emblematic street of the capital’s downtown.

This is an initiative promoted since April 6 by the Office of the First Lady of the Nation, together with other public and private sector entities, with the aim of revitalizing the Historic Center of Asunción.

According to data released by the first lady, Leticia Ocampos, more than 35,000 people have made the Palmear Fair an ideal meeting point to share with family and friends.

The report also mentions that the fairgrounds raised about G. 400,000,000 in the first editions of the aforementioned fair.

In this context, the participation of 90 exhibitors stands out with their different stands, who offer a wide variety of products and services, from food, drinks and even crafts.

Likewise, 40 artists performed on the street stages set up on the emblematic street of the capital’s downtown, providing a high-quality show to all those present.

The first lady also highlighted that thanks to this initiative promoted by her Office, the front owners on Palma Street increased their sales by 15 percent.

The Palmear Fair will continue this Saturday, inviting entire families to enjoy and reconnect with the center of Asunción.
