The head of the Thai Table Tennis Association said that This event aims to let people and youth know what table tennis is all about. Every time we organize a competition, we usually organize it in a room or gym. which the people have not yet reached But this time we will bring table tennis to the public so that everyone knows that this sport can be played by all ages. In this event, we will see small children hit with adults 60-70 years old, not just the national team athletes. but anyone can play It is another type of sport that can create happiness in the family.
Mr. Nuttawut also added that Another important highlight of the work is “Miniature Ping Pong Tournament”, which is the plan of the association. There is an idea that from the past, the national team players started learning to play table tennis at the age of 8-10 years old. But at present, this sports superpower, either China or Japan, he created children from the age of 4-5 years old, so the association Therefore, we try to find athletes from a young age and develop training skills from a young age. to have the opportunity to build a reputation for the country in the future
“For this activity, as we learned, we need a community area such as a shopping mall. Moreover, Central itself has an adult who is one of the referees of the Table Tennis Association, and there is also a Central Table Tennis Club. Therefore, there was discussion in this collaboration. Which is in line with the objective of Central itself to promote and support in the matter of sports. This year, the association with Central will organize activities “Table Tennis Festival 2022” like this 3 times, the first time is at Central West Gate, the other 2 places are Central Ayutthaya and Central Chiang Mai, including money that Central supports both the area and various budgets.
