The Lebanese national basketball team defeated the Philippines, 80-95, in the first round of the group stage of the 2022 Asian Cup, which will be held in Indonesia.
Klass congratulates: The Minister of Youth and Sports in the caretaker government, George Kallas, congratulated the Lebanese national team, saying, “Congratulations to the Lebanese basketball team for its victory over the Philippines 95/80.”
And he added, via Twitter, “Lebanon smiles at the heroes.”
