Kolda, June 20 (APS) – Some 16,818 candidates, including 9,210 girls, are registered in Kolda (south) for the Certificate of Completion of Elementary Studies (CFEE) exams scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, the inspector of academy, Samba Diakhité.
“We have a total of 16,818 candidates in the region, including 9,210 girls for the elementary school leaving certificate examination and for entering sixth grade. This year, there are more girls compared to previous years,” said L’IA de Kolda.
Thus doing the situation in front of the press, the academy inspector assured on the arrangements made for the proper functioning of the CFEE examination in the region.
“All the necessary arrangements from the mobilized staff to the security measures are taken for the smooth running of the examination in the region, you know we coordinate at the level of the IA, but the organization of the examination is up to the inspectors education and training IEF and at this level also it must be said the work is done very well”, reassured the IA of Kolda.
In addition, concerning candidate students without civil status, the regional education authority emphasizes that students in this situation are authorized to take the exam pending the regularization of cases.
“Students who do not have extracts can take the exam while waiting for the regularization of the cases, but this does not prevent the candidates concerned from taking the exam,” said Samba Diakhité.
