After the resignation of Mayor Ferdinand Aigner (VP), the Attergau metropolis will elect a new mayor on September 24th. With 36-year-old Friedrich Mayr-Melnhof, the People’s Party is entering a “real hope for the future” (Aigner on Mayr-Melnhof). Franz Schneeweiß (FP) and Maximilian Dollberger (SP) at least want to force him into a runoff.
