Israeli media: The army is unable to invade Lebanon and remove Hezbollah from the border
Israeli media confirmed today, Friday, that no one is deceiving themselves that “Israel is capable of dismantling Hezbollah.”
Political affairs analyst for the Israeli Channel 13, Rafif Drucker, reported that the occupation army “is now unable to invade Lebanon and establish a belt up to the Litani River, or to remove all Hezbollah elements from the border,” and added: “We have woken up from this dream.” Unfortunately”.
Drucker pointed out that “Israel is unable to push Hezbollah beyond the Litani, and guarantee that it will not return,” pointing out that “Israel’s future is not rosy,” stressing at the same time that “what is happening in Gaza is evidence of that.”
The Israeli Channel 12 indicated that “Hezbollah is present at the border and always fires,” stressing that it “continues and succeeds in firing toward Israel.”
The editor of military and security affairs in the Israeli newspaper “Haaretz”, Yossi Melman, wrote an article in which he said that any comprehensive war against Hezbollah could expose “Israel” to an existential threat.
Melman stressed that the “bitter truth” is that the damage inflicted on Hezbollah, to date, is not great, as its members retreated about two kilometers from the border, as a result of a deliberate decision taken by Hezbollah’s leadership, and not resulting from Israeli pressure, with the aim of reducing human losses.
Melman added that Hezbollah is drawing lessons from the Gaza war, and is waging a calculated battle in which it refrains from risking the “Ridwan Force” and preserves it in the event of a comprehensive war.
