Juventus secured a 2-0 victory over Bologna in Serie A on Sunday, extending their lead over Como and Roma to three points in the race for Champions League qualification.

The match, played at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, saw Juventus take control early with a goal from Dušan Vlahović in the 23rd minute. The Serbian striker converted a precise pass from Federico Chiesa, finishing low to the left of Bologna goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski.

Juventus doubled their advantage in the 67th minute when Weston McKennie intercepted a loose pass in midfield and drove forward before sliding the ball to Kenan Yıldız, who calmly placed it past Skorupski from the edge of the box.

Bologna, managed by Vincenzo Italiano, struggled to create clear chances despite dominating possession in spells. Their best opportunity came in the 55th minute when Riccardo Orsolini fired a shot from distance that forced Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio into a save.

The result leaves Juventus on 62 points from 32 matches, three points ahead of both Como and Roma, who each have 59 points. Como drew 1-1 with Lecce earlier on Sunday, even as Roma lost 2-1 to Atalanta on Saturday.

With six games remaining in the Serie A season, Juventus now hold a decisive advantage in the battle for the final Champions League spot. Bologna remain in ninth place on 48 points, mathematically eliminated from European contention.

Juventus head coach Thiago Motta praised his team’s discipline after the match, emphasizing the importance of maintaining focus in the final stretch of the season.
