Vienna – There has been a change of shareholders at the partially state-owned oil and gas company OMV. The long-standing core shareholder from Abu Dhabi, the sovereign wealth fund Mubadala, has sold its stake within the emirate to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), as OMV announced on Thursday evening. ADNOC now holds 24.9 percent of the shares in OMV, ÖBAG (Österreichische Beteiligungs AG) continues to hold 31.5 percent. The share transfer took place on February 28th.
