Dozens of flights were delayed or diverted last night at Charleroi airport. It seems that a problem linked to the landing of a plane is at the origin of these embarrassments. We are deploring delays between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. once more this Sunday morning.

The following planes were therefore sent back to Zaventem or Liège, there were 7 in total. “There is also a plane which was supposed to take off for Marseille this morning which was canceled and postponed until the end of the day”, the operations director tells us. This Sunday morning, the situation is resolved but “there are still some delays to deplore”concludes Julien Pauwels.
