Charles III declared William’s eldest son Prince of Wales

King Charles III of Great Britain declared the eldest son William the Prince of Wales. They write regarding it “News” with reference to the monarch’s address to the nation on 9 September.

“How my heir William becomes Duke of Cornwall. Today, I proudly pronounce him Prince of Wales,” announced Charles III.

This means that the eldest son of the monarch now ranks first in the succession to the throne. The British King also said he would like to “express his love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives abroad.”
