Charlie Puth just secured a stylish new venture. The Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer has partnered with Lucky Brand to serve as the latest ambassador for the American apparel and lifestyle specialist, marrying his chart-topping musical career with the brand’s signature vintage-inspired denim and slacker-rock aesthetic.
For Puth, the collaboration feels rooted in personal philosophy. “I’ve always believed the best work comes from staying true to who you are,” Puth states in a campaign announcement. “That’s what drew me to Lucky Brand. There is a genuine appreciation for individuality and the confidence to do things your own way, and I’m excited to be part of a brand that celebrates people who make their own luck.”
A Natural Fit for an Independent Spirit
The partnership places the pop artist front and center across global advertising channels. Fans can expect to see Puth fronting high-profile campaigns spanning in-store displays, digital storefronts, paid media, experiential activations, and targeted social media promotions.
Behind the scenes, executives at Authentic Brands Group—which acquired Lucky Brand in 2020—saw an organic synergy between the pop star’s trajectory and the company’s foundational ethos. Stefani Fleurant, executive VP of sports and lifestyle marketing at Authentic Brands Group, notes that Puth is “an artist who has always stayed true to his vision, and that makes him a natural fit for Lucky Brand. He reflects the independent spirit that has been part of our story from the very beginning.”
That sentiment is echoed by Marisa Thalberg, chief marketing officer of Catalyst Brands, the operating partner for Lucky Brand. Thalberg observes that “Charlie embodies that spirit in a way that feels effortless,” adding that “his originality, curiosity and passion for his craft make him a natural partner as we continue building a brand that celebrates individuality and the enduring connection between style and music.”
Building on a Major Career Streak
Puth recently welcomed a child, opened Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium earlier this year with a rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” and released his fourth studio album, Whatever’s Clever! via Atlantic Records in March, which reached No. 46 on the charts.
Puth’s commercial footprint remains formidable a decade after his breakthrough. Since emerging in 2015 with his feature on Wiz Khalifa’s Billboard Hot 100 smash “See You Again” from Fast & Furious 7—which dominated the No. 1 spot for 12 weeks—he has landed 13 total songs on the chart, including four top 10 hits.
His previous studio albums established a reliable commercial baseline. His 2016 debut Nine Track Mind peaked at No. 6, 2018’s Voicenotes reached No. 4, and 2022’s Charlie cracked the top 10 at No. 10 on the Billboard 200.
Global Touring and the Road Ahead
With his wardrobe officially secured through the Lucky Brand partnership, Puth is turning his attention back to the stage. Following the completion of his North American and European dates supporting the latest record, the international leg of the Whatever’s Clever World Tour is set to kick off on Oct. 11 at Seoul’s Goyang Stadium.
The itinerary includes upcoming stops across the Philippines, Japan, and Taiwan, before heading down to Australia and New Zealand this November.
