Charlotte de Turckheim: The morning of my elimination, during breakfast, I understood that they had unmasked me. The day they no longer had anyone to eat, I told myself that there weren’t very many of us left and it became obvious that they were going to turn to me.

My behavior as an observer suddenly seemed obvious to them. For some reason that still escapes me, they realized that very late.

How did you feel when you were eliminated?
I was very disappointed: I was so close to the goal. I understood that I had played for nothing and that disappointed me enormously, especially since it’s a tiring game. I had a really bad experience of it; All that for this. I cried and I have rarely cried so much.
Are you afraid of disappointing your friends?
I was disappointed for them. Between my entering the game and my elimination, they learned that I was making the game for them: they texted me and I was upset that they knew it. I said to myself “If I don’t win, they will think that I will bring money and there will be nothing”. When it happened I was very sad. That they know that I played for their association, that put an impossible amount of pressure on me.
