The shooting of “Jane by Charlotte” had not started well
In this partly autobiographical film, intimate and personal, we perceive a Jane Birkin from a more confidential angle. The shooting of Jane par Charlotte, started six years ago in Japan, did not immediately go well. “I had lots of questions and I could only ask a few because I was clumsy“, Told Charlotte gainsbourg at Release. “Jane was afraid that my project would take on the appearance of a settling scores“, she added.”I thought, ‘But what a punishment. It was done by his nephew, it was very touching.
