Torney observed that this flexibility could inadvertently maintain high engagement levels that appeal strongly to teens.

The rollout of ChatGPT for Teens coincides with a high-stakes trial involving Meta over allegations of fostering addictive behavior in children, carrying potential penalties of hundreds of billions of dollars, according to CNBC.
