Cheese factory – Autoreview

My friends call cars with Chinese ancestry a cheese product – they say, there is cheese, and there are products similar to it. In this case, the Comtrans exhibition, which moved from the outlying Crocus Expo complex to the foot of Moscow City, to the Expo Center, is a cheese factory!

As it turned out, the riot of Chinese cargo brands at the May STT construction and cargo exhibition was a prelude. And what was happening at Comtrans was already a symphony with a continuous crescendo (increasing the sound with the addition of new instruments), which (to quote the Kultura.RF portal) “grows, turning from a neat, calibrated march into a real monster, ready to devour the whole world.”

Chinese tractors are already in some places becoming cooler than European ones – if not in quality, then in interior design. It’s not just regarding tablets: Comtrans showed two tractors with meter-wide (!) beds, the Foton Auman in the 580-horsepower version and the hitherto unknown Beijing. No European competitor has this – a maximum of 80 cm.

Moreover, the Beijing is already offered – for now with a 6×4 wheel arrangement, but in November a 4×2 version will also appear at a price of 10.5-11.5 million rubles. Here, perhaps, is the coolest cabin among all the “Chinese” ones that I have seen so far: the entrance is high, the floor is flat, and from it to the ceiling there are two meters. It turns out that Beijing is part of the same BAIC concern as Foton. Try to figure out these branches!
