French international defender Axel Disasi has signed a six-year contract with Chelsea, the London club announced on Friday.
Disasi (25), who has been playing in Monaco since 2020, has four selections for the France team and was part of the finalist group for the World Cup in Qatar in 2022. The amount of the transfer is 45 million euros, according to a source familiar with the negotiations. After Benoît Badiashile, bought for 38 million euros last January by the Blues, Disasi is the second Monegasque central defender to sign with Chelsea this year.
