Vinesh and Adityan are the other two who died after falling from the boat. The accident occurred when the church overturned at the quay in Valiaperumpuzha. The accident occurred when the Chennithala church overturned while leaving for the Uthritathi boat race held in Aranmula today. The accident happened around 8:30 am on Saturday. There is a ceremony to come back after going a hundred meters to the church and then continue the journey. The accident occurred while the rowers were returning to the mosque. Chennithala is the farthest church to visit for Aranmula water festival.

It takes one and a half days to reach Aranmula from Chennithala church. The bodies of Cherukol Manasheri Vinish (37) and Adityan (17), son of Chennithala South Pariyarat Satheesan, were found earlier in Chennithala. The body of Adityan, a Plus 2 student, was found in Achankovil Att. The accident took place at Valiya Perumpuzha jetty.
