Chevrolet’s new electric SUV, the Equinox, showed up early and unintentionally. It was the Chinese government that leaked the first images of the $30,000 model.
Since last year, we have known that Chevrolet plans to bring its new electric Equinox to France. We also know that this model will be announced at a competitive price. In the United States, it should cost around $30,000, and we can expect a similar price here.
But since these announcements, we did not yet know what this new version of the SUV would look like. It’s now done… thanks to the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Transport. Indeed, the latter published images of the new electric Chevrolet Equinox on its website.
We also learn that it will measure 4.85 meters long, 1.91 meters wide and 1.64 meters high. Aesthetically, it should be very close to this Chinese version. Only a few details might change, but the line will be this.
There will be five trims of this model in the United States, and the model’s range is expected to be between 250 and 300 miles. We should know more about the price range of the Equinox in the coming weeks, during its official presentation.
